Looking for my Sho’t Left

Your life is your life
Don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission.
Beyond the watch, there are ways out.
There is light somewhere,
It may not be much light
But it beats the darkness
Beyond the watch, the Gods will offer you chances know them, take them.
We can’t beat death
But we can beat death in life sometimes
The more often you learn to do it
The more light there will be

Your life is your life
Know it while you have it
You are marvelous
The gods wait to delight in you

How often do you see a sign/ a place a/ hear about an event and say: “ I should do that” or “ I should go there.” And then never end up going.
My mission (starting yesterday) is to go/see/do all the things I always intend to but never really get around to. Let the exploring commence!
My inspiration? The launch of Tourism Month 2011

The launch was held in the newly constructed Freedom Park, a monument to all those who have died in conflict for South Africa.

So often as South Africans we look to the rest of the world for inspiration and to fuel our desire for travel. Taking a Sho’t  Left changes this and opens up South Africa for South Africans.
Reeds signifying  the rebirth of a nation as well as a nation embracing the future.

I met these two traditional dancers who were convinced I was a movie star- thanks guys!
